I finally appeared in a rock band, called "Willie & The Shakers" at a Birthday Barbeque in August 2003.  I was allegedly 'singing', though thankfully no conclusive audio evidence has survived of the 'gig' (as we call them in the Rock Biz)...
Below are a few pictures of me making my first (and almost certainly last) appearence.
