"Star Trek: Spock vs Q" An Alien Voices Original
(written by Cecelia Fannon)

Order the CD or the Cassette from Amazon.com!

Starring Leonard Nimoy, John de Lancie.  Simon & Schuster. Single CD/Cassette.
The latest recording from the Alien Voices team is an original story, rather than an adaptation of a classic novel.  "Star Trek: Spock vs Q" is a regular feature of conventions in America and features Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie in the roles they created in Star Trek.
This recording was made at one such convention, and the audience reaction to the exchanges between the characters is well to the fore.  The plot is this: Spock has been sent back to try to warn 20th century earthlings about the danger the face, but he must do this without violating the Prime Directive.  Q arrives on the scene to stop Spock telling all and, in the process, spills the beans himself.  The rest of the story involves Spock trying to provide reasons why the Earth should be saved, and Q giving the opposing view.
There are a great many in-jokes and quips and the pair even manage to get i na serious point or two during the 'debate'.
The performance is only an hour long and it plays well; fans of the Trek series will pick up on the in-jokes non-fans will probably get the gist...!
A welcome addition to the Alien Voices range.
