BACK TO "My Favourite Trading Cards" Menu BACKTO "Trading Cards" Front Page Go To Bottom of Page	This page contains scans of my favourite Movie cards.  I collect cards from any series or movie that I enjoy and/or which offers interesting cards (including autographs and memorabilia cards!); as a result this page contains card images from The X-Files, Wild Wild West, Sleepy Hollow and Planet of The Apes amongst others.  As and when I get more interesting cards I'll add them! Also included here are those odd cards in my collection that come from sets not based on Movies or TV series.		PLEASE NOTE: This page contains a lot of pictures which may well take some time toload up.  Please be patient and if things seem to have got stuck hit 'Refresh' or the equivalent! Wild Wild West The Movie
All the autographs for this set were available by redemption - you got a card in the pack which had to be sent to Fleer in the US.  Redemptions were restricted to the USA, but luckily I have friends in the US who were able to send them in for me!  I no longer have the autographs, alas...
	I tried scanning the front but it just came out very dark.  To give you an idea of what it looks like imagine the picture of Will Smith on this card embossed and printed on a 'sliver/platinum' effect.  There were three in the set each was limited to 750 and hand numbered. (This one is 432/750).  Apparently these were to make up for the fact that there were no Will Smith autographedcards available in the set.

Sleepy Hollow (Inkworks 2000)
		The card had spaces for 6 cast members - whichever one was 'marked' was the one you got - this one is marked for Lisa Marie who played Ichabod Crane's Mother.

Star Wars Evolution (Topps 2001)			Star Wars Evolution Update Edition (2006)
		In 2001 Topps (who hold the StarWars trading card licence) issued the first ever Star Wars set to contain autographs.  Most of the signed cards were from regulars on the conventionand show scene but there were one of two cards of note - Carrie Fisherand Anthony Daniels only signed 100 each and Dave Prowse didn't sign any! The 'regular' cards were of a'foil' type and were well presented (if amazingly difficult to scan!)

Lord of TheRings
The Fellowship of The Ring (Topps2001)

The long-awaited (by fans at least!) movie adaptation of Professor J.R.R.Tolkien's exceptional fantasy tale "The Lord of The Rings" finally hit the screens in December 2001 and Topps released a set of trading cards at the same time.  The cards are someof the most beautiful I've ever seen and the boxes are nicely done - the design is excellent and the collation fantastic!  The box I got contained two autographs (Sean Astin and the rare John Rhys-Davies which had odds of 1:250 packs) and I had amazing luck in getting the Sir Ian McKellen and Liv Tyler cards in odd packs purchased from different boxes in different shops!
The Two Towers Update Edition(Topps 2003)		LOTR Masterpieces (Topps 2006)
	This is from the second set of cards produced for the second of the LOTR movies "The Two Towers" is is (quote) "genuine material used for the creation of Galadriel's Silk Chiffon"(unquote) Stated odds of getting a costume card were 1:33 - stated odds of getting THIS card were 1:444!

Lara CroftTomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (Inkworks 2003)
		One of the costume cards from the second Lara Croft movie set - this one is part of the red lining ofthe "Silk Dragon Jacket" worn by Angelina Jolie (as Lara Croft) in the film.  Unusually for a costume card it is very thin and flexible!
