My
Favourite Trading Cards
Star
Trek Movies
Sp far, the only sets available for the
Star Trek Movies are "Generations", "First Contact" and "Insurrection"
(I know, there are sets available for the other six Trek films, but they
were 'Factory collated' and not widely available) I don't have any
"First Contact" (yet), but I do have some interesting cards from "Generations"
and "Insurrection". The movie cards were in a 'Widescreen' oversize
format. Only the most recent set, "Insurrection" had autograph cards
(well, "First Contact" had a one-off Brent Spiner ('Data') autograph card,
but it is so scarce (apparently there were only 200 signed)... "Insurrection"
had "One Per Box")
If any autograph description on this page is highlighted, I have a double of the card which I would be prepared to sell/trade - please 'click' on the highlighted section to email me if you are interested!

Generations

Cinema 2000
Nemesis
Star Trek:
Generations
One of three 'Spectra' cards, this one
show the two captains (Picard and Kirk) against a metallic background.
Like all the other Trek movie cards, Generations
was issued in a 'widescreen' format.
Star Trek:
Insurrection
Jonathan Frakes (Riker - also the director
of the film!)
Mickael Westmore (Make-Up Designer)
Anthony Zerbe (Admiral Dougherty)
Gregg Henry (Gallatin)
Lee Arnone-Briggs (The Librarian
- a character cut from the released version of the film)
Donna Murphy (Anij)
The 'Insurrection' set had 7 'Gold' cards,
one for each of the main cast. Each card was embossed on gold foil,
and carried a hand-written number on the back. The cards were limited
to 400 each, and the stated odds on the pack of receiving one of these
was 1:750.
Left: The front of the card (all you can
really see is the embossing; metallic cards are really difficult to scan!)
Right: The back fo the card, with 'biographical' information about Jean-Luc
Picard. Note the hand written number in the middle.
L-R: 'Galactic Conflix' - These came in
three different sets of 9 cards, each card individually numbered.
White (numbered to 2000), Black (of which this is an example, numbered
to 750) and Blue (numbered to 250)
'Doctor McCoy A Tribute' - A 3D Lenticular
card, similar to the 'Command Crew' cards from "Voyager Closer To Home";
a 9 card set highlighting key moments from Dr McCoy's adventures on the
Silver Screen!
'Saluting The Captains' - Printed on 'Holofoil'
card; a 9 card set paying tribute to 9 'Captains' seen on the screen.
Included are Kirk (as shown), Picard, Sulu, Styles, Terrell, and, somewhat
oddly, Zephram Cochrane!
